Dancing on Ashes (Welcome to) in Projectspace Römerstr., Stuttgart - Dec 4

Dancing on Ashes (Welcome to)

“Aika is genetically cool
She can’t really do anything else, but this she does perfectly
In such a cool world, she even can make a living out of it
But then she can never leave
She can never leave the cool world"

Dancing on Ashes (Welcome to) is a performance installation that will introduce you to the transmedia multiverse of Angel Meat.

Ines Birkhan and Bertram Dhellemmes present a composite work involving dance and music performance, video and staged literature. Though Dancing on Ashes (Welcome to) is a piece that stands for itself, it is also an opportunity to start the exploration of a work-in-progress that investigates through different medias the connections between experimental arts, pop subcultures and ancestral cathartic theatre.

Angel Meat in Akademie Schloss Solitude

Angel Meat

Ines Birkhan and Bertram Dhellemmes are resident artists in Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2009 for the Angel Meat project. This residence emphasize the literary dimension of the project, since the last version of Angel Meat gives larger room to the writing of Ines Birkhan and the staging of reading. More about it later.
